Then re-install Application from this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution Also make sure that the box is checked for Enable PDF thumbnail previews in windows explorer under Edit menu Preferences General.Thumbnail views were eliminated in the very fist versions of DC but were replaced later.I dont understand. looks like there is absolutely no explanation - definetly Microsoft bug.Up until yesterday, everyone in the company could preview the pdf files through Outlook except one person.
Controlador De Vista Previa Outlook 2016 Will Not Open Install Application FromI called our email vendor and they said it was an Adobe problem. I went online and the miracle fix said to edit the registry to correct a setting (the Leo Davidson fix). I ran a repair on Adobe then downloaded and installed all the new Adobe updates. I called Adobe and one tech told me it was a Microsoft problem. However, on this users machine, the Previewers key doesnt exist. I checked the Adobe PDFMaker settings on the problem machine and theyre identical to mine (and my pdf previewer works fine). If not, I may delete her profile and remove the profile registry setting then log her back on and recreate her profile and see if that works. If the attachments are closed first, then the cache will be cleared on exit. This often happens with scansfaxes as they often get the same name (scan000.pdf). I wish it specifically noted Outlook 2013 but Ill definitely look at that, too. Thank you. That should get you there, and I am fairly certain you will find a range of documents from fax(00).pdf to fax(99).pdf. In fact, I unhid all files and did a C: drive search on Content.Outlook and found zero hits. I logged on as the user then re-ran the Outlook profile setup and logged onto Outlook as her and the PDF Previewer failed with the same error. I removed the new profile and renamed the old profile back to the correct entry then deleted the registry entry again and logged her back on with her original account. After the fifth time of checking that Content.Outlook location, I found it (completely unable to determine why I couldnt find it the first four times) I deleted the fax files (and I found 199 of them) but the problem persisted. So Im setting her up on a new machine and Im going to call Microsoft on Monday and ask them wtf. Its one of our newest machines we just purchased earlier this year. Controlador De Vista Previa Outlook 2016 Will Not Open .Exe Is ListedI did notice that the program AcroRd32.exe is listed in TaskMgr about 20 times. I end tasked all the AcroRd32.exe but that didnt fix the problem. Every time we double click on the PDF file, another AcroRd32.exe shows up on the Processes tab and does nothing. Personally this Outlook 2013 has been nothing but problems from day 1 and I wouldnt be surprised if this is an Outlook issue and not a Adobe PDF issue. I dont understand.
